Santa Brígida Mayor Opens Atlantic Week Talks

Atlantic School celebrates from today until Friday Atlantic Week. A week full of activities related to the subjects of Science & Art awaits us, where our students from 1EP to 2BACH will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills both for interpretation and crafts; as well as for the presentation of their works related to research in Biology and Physics and Chemistry; in addition to show us his math prowess at our Olympics or in writing with the Spelling Bee.
Today we started talks with the Mayor of Santa Brígida, Miguel Jorge Blanco, who explained to our 6EP students the functions of a mayor. Students have shown a lot of interest in Jorge Blanco's work and have raised numerous doubts about the functioning of a municipality.
Throughout the week, several conferences related to Research at the service of Science will be held; some by parents of the School and also by former students, who from their experience as professionals in the health sector will talk to us about various topics related to Covid-19. During Atlantic Week other important topics will be addressed such as: emotions, food and health, the environment or music.
A week to learn and expose what has been learned in a course that is being a great learning experience for everyone.
Happy Atlantic Week!
