Atlantic School participates in the Conference on Educational Innovation organised by Cambridge Assessment

The University of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom, was chosen by Cambridge Assessment to further its SHAPE Project. The term SHAPE, defined as the reorganization of education, is a concept designed and endorsed by Cambridge University for the development of modern teaching techniques adapted to the evolution of society. Experts from various sectors collaborate on this project to track how technology is gradually and successfully implanted in education systems and how it should evolve in the future. Last week, teachers, professionals from the technology sector, analysts and students gathered at these conferences on Educational Innovation.
Atlantic School received the invitation from Cambridge Assessment to tell about the implementation of the STEAM project that integrates mathematical and scientific content, using the engineering design process, in order to develop, through creativity, teamwork and the use of technology, solutions to real-world problems. Atlantic School's experience in educational innovation was presented by teacher Evelyn Vagner. One of the objectives of this meeting was to define a series of challenges and outline some lines of work to continue preparing and training our students for a world driven mainly by technology.
