Atlantic School Receives 2024 Little Brave Award

Atlantic School received the Valientes 2024 Award this past Saturday, November 23, during the Gran Gala Pequeño Valiente 2024, which was held at the Gran Canaria Arena. An award that represents the recognition by the Pequeño Valiente Foundation of entities, companies and personalities that actively collaborate with them throughout the year.
The seventh edition of the Gala was led and presented by journalist Roberto Herrera and was broadcast live on TVE's La 2 in the Canary Islands. As in previous editions, it was a night in which humor, music and solidarity came together in the fight against childhood cancer, raising funds for the Foundation.
For our School it is a very great illusion since we have been collaborating with the Canarian Foundation Pequeño Valiente for almost 10 years through the Solidarity Market, which we organize every course, and which has always had a magnificent response from our families. So the prize is shared with all of them and also with our students.
Congratulations to the rest of the winners: the Líneas Romero Foundation, the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas Foundation, the Isleta Extrem sporting event organised by the Canarias 50 Infantry Regiment, the ministry of Sports of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and the club Rutas Culturales por Canarias en Deportivos.
The story of Fundación Canaria Pequeño Valiente begins in 2006, when a group of families whose sons and daughters were hospitalized in the Pediatric Oncohematology Unit of the Maternal and Child Hospital of Gran Canaria, decided to join forces to improve the hospitalization of their children. from that moment on, Pequeño Valiente was born, a non-profit autonomous entity whose main mission is to improve the quality of life of all children with cancer and their families. To think that Atlantic School does its bit to make this path more bearable fills us with great satisfaction.
