Celebrating Grandparents Day

One of the most anticipated days of the year at Atlantic School is Grandparents Day. We are excited to see the enthusiasm with which grandparents arrive from the first hour. They do not want to miss their grandchildren in action, they love to discover what their class is like and what all grandparents do most is to squat their grandchildren three times what they do every day. Many know the school by heart because they come many afternoons or many mornings to pick up or drop off their grandchildren, others because they came one day as parents and today they come as grandparents and most repeat every year and witness the evolution of their grandchildren. Some students are so lucky that they are not only visited by their grandparents, but also by their great-grandparents. For all this and for the enthusiasm that the children and the teaching team have for preparing Grandparents Day, we love this party.

This year the little ones did not disappoint in their athletics tests, in their ball races, nor in the relay, nor through the tunnels crawling like real sidereal crocodiles. At the end there was no maximum happiness than to receive the grandparents in the class and give them the gifts they have made with so much enthusiasm.
