Atlantic Week Begins at Atlantic School
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Finally, our long-awaited Atlantic Week has arrived at the School. Like every edition, it has been a week full of activities related to the subjects of Science & Art where our students from 1st Primary to 2nd Baccalaureate have had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills both for interpretation and for the presentation of their works related to  research in Biology and Physics and Chemistry; in addition to showing us his talent for crafts in the Arts & Crafts exhibitions they have held during these days. There has also been time to visit museums, work in organic gardens, discuss current issues, attend classical music concerts, practice various sports, etc.

In the case of museums, 4th year ESO students A and B have they were in charge of explaining the Canarian Museum to their classmates in 4th and 5th grades. They were tuition guides!

Our 3rd and 4th ESO and 1st Baccalaureate students have also been enrolled in the Speaker's Corner defending their point of view on "influencers" and "stop inequalities"

Like all editions of Atlantic Week, the debate of First of Baccalaureate could not be missed. In this occasion a topical issue: Social networks and the internet: do they give us or take away our freedom of expression?. The jury has had a difficult time because both finalist teams have been brilliant in defending their respective positions.

The influence of France on food and fashion has also been present during this important week. A group of 4th year ESO students have paraded as authentic models and in the front row of the catwalk the 2nd and 3rd ESO students have enjoyed.

Our dining room has also been internationalized during Atlantic Week and our students have had the opportunity to visit and learn about different countries and cultures "through the palate". To do this, they enjoyed an American, oriental, Hindu, Italian gastronomic day and ended with an English gastronomic day.
