International Organization of la Francophonie

French is one of the most widely spoken languages on the planet, with more than 200 million people speaking it on five continents. At Atlantic Schools we consider the learning of a second foreign language as a key element for the student's identity.
Within this framework, we celebrate La Francophonie Day on Monday, March 20. Students from 1st Primary to 2nd Baccalaureate participated. From of 5th grade, French is implemented as a second foreign language, as is German; led by Audrey Sagnol, the French students prepared different activities with the aim of promoting the importance of the French language.
During the morning there were presentations of murals, tastings of typical food, recipes, songs, interviews and team games to share and promote culture francophone among all students and teachers.
At Atlantic Schools we carry out an innovative methodology so that learning is as successful as possible and that our students are able to communicate in a society in which French is the third most used language, especially in the field of international and diplomatic relations, as well as in business in much of the world, without losing sight of our neighbour Africa.
