We started the 20-21 academic year with the aim of creating a safe and healthy environment
Finally the return to the Cole arrives and we welcome our students with great enthusiasm. We have worked hard to get everything ready for the 20-21 academic year. The new normal has led us to make various changes in the way we proceed and undertake the different school procedures with new challenges, both in the classroom and outside it: breaks, dining room, sports activities, etc.

The management team has been working on health and safety protocols during the summer; as well as adapting the facilities to the new requirements of the health and educational authorities. Our families have been receiving this information and we want communication to be fluid, for this they have a corporate email in which they can ask all the questions about the new normality of the school (consultas.covid@atlanticschools.net).

Our concern is to minimize any risk and ensure the safety of our entire educational community. Both the teachers and the dining and cleaning staff have received training these past weeks to know in detail how to act in the face of this new reality. Our goal is to make Atlantic Schools a safe and healthy environment. This task requires a close collaboration between families and the school, facilitating compliance with the protocols for the good of all.

Luckily, at Atlantic Schools we have extensive facilities, nestled in a natural environment, which will allow our students to keep a safe distance and develop numerous outdoor classes. We will also have a school nurse who will conduct workshops on  health education that includes prevention, hygiene and health promotion measures against COVID-19, to make students an active agent in improving the health of the educational community.

We will have to get used to the new reality, but we are convinced that it will not be difficult for us to live in bubble groups, we will adapt to the new dining hours, new spaces and school circulation circuits, masks, frequent hand cleaning and we will also get used to the distance. Because this distance is only physical. Atlantic School will maintain the same affection and commitment so that our students are happy and feel safe in their school.
