In memoriam. Claudia, Heaven could not wait

"Early death arose from the flight,
early morning.” ¹
On Saturday, November 20, we woke up to the tragic news of the death of Claudia San Román Medina. Messages of support and condolence flooded the chats, calls multiplied, parents, teachers, former students... Atlantic School was plunged into deep consternation. Tears of pain, tears of helplessness. His parents, her sister Daniela, CLAUDIA! Impossible to stop thinking about them. It is impossible to find any other answer, other than faith, to an event, as unjust as it is difficult to understand. Claudia lost her life on a dark night in Madrid, brutally run over by someone who also fled.
"A hard slap, an icy blow,
an invisible and homicidal axe,
a brutal push has brought you down.” ²
Tan claudia's graduation with the “Class of 2019” has only been two years. Memories arise and in a way rebel. But Claudia's smile is tempering them. She loved her school, since she was very young she had learned to love, she moved freely in the territory of emotions, her character oozed the clean freshness of spontaneity and transparency.
He crossed for the first time the doors of the school with one year old, about to turn two. She loved her school, she loved her classmates, sixteen years of coexistence. He loved his teachers. He was involved in each project: the most supportive Christmas class, the English Court race, the school gymkana, the end-of-year party, the cello always available to support with its bass, slow and elegant melody, carols and recordings.
The costumes, plays, breaks, teen conversations, first loves, rehearsals, Atlantic Week, speaker corner, debates, philosophy, enthusiasm, smile, effort... exams! The tasks! The Advanced. The hours of classes at the Conservatory. The outings, the friends. Claudia tuned a timple that she transformed into a ukulele...
Claudia had learned to love, and among her loves, Medicine. She struggled, worked on his project, pursued his goals, made his purposes come true. "She does not give problems", "good head, she is able to study on her own", "she is a very good girl", "very happy with her attitude, educated, she does not protest", "good start, she works well, she fights", "good job", "let her rest for two days"... Claudia, after passing 13 in EBAU, got her place, in the first list, in the Degree in Medicine at the University Complutense de Madrid.
In memoriam! Claudia, Heaven could not wait.
On Monday, November 29, the funeral Mass for his eternal rest will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Cathedral of Santa Ana, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
