The Bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands visits Atlantic School

The Bishop of the Diocese of the Canary Islands, Monsignor José Mazuelos, visited Atlantic School last week, fulfilling the promise he made to the students who were confirmed last October.
In a relaxed and close act, Mr. Obispo engaged in a lively chat with the students of 2BACH on different current issues. They also talked about the important adventure that awaits them in a few months: the university. D. José told them about his time as a student at the Faculty of Medicine, his subsequent ecclesiastical studies and the path he took to reach the Diocese of the Canary Islands, less than six months ago.
The students of 1BACH also exchanged impressions with Mr. Obispo before his confirmation on April 29 at the Cathedral of Santa Ana. D. José reminded the young people of the important place that have in society and encouraged them to live with enthusiasm and with the firm purpose of achieving the goals that each one sets, without forgetting the values learned so far.
The Board of Trustees and the Management Team had the opportunity to exchange educational concerns of common interest.
From Atlantic School we want to thank Mr. José for his visit and we support his wish with which he presented himself during his first homily as Bishop of the Diocese so that, as he said then, he would "bring freshness, courage and availability" in his love for the Lord.
