Solidarity summer in Ghana

A group of Atlantic Schools junior high school students have spent a month this summer in Ghana collaborating, through an NGO, at the Adventist School. During their stay, in the city of Winneba in the south of the country, they have helped a group of 12-year-old children with mathematics, social science, French and English. When we got home we were told that "it has been an incredible experience since the reality of the children we have been with is very different from ours. ”
They all claim to have learned a lot from the little ones they have helped to reinforce the different subjects they taught on a daily basis and have returned with a lot of sorrow. It has undoubtedly been a different summer that they will not forget.
